Snes9x is a portable, freeware SNES emulator. It essentially lets you to play most games developed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game consoles on your PC or workstation, including some true jewels that were exclusively available in Japan.
Tons of internal core improvements were performed to make the app far better than before and compatible with more platforms. Unfortunately, since the Windows version differs significantly from all other ports of the program, and no one wanted to maintain it, this release will not include a Windows port. However, interested parties with the required expertise may create a Windows version of the source. However, if you do, please submit your modifications back.
